Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and certified Scrum Master to lead and support agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Scrum principles and practices are followed while facilitating collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant-leader and coach for multiple Scrum teams
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)
  • Guide the team on Agile/Scrum best practices and values
  • Remove impediments to the team's progress and ensure a smooth workflow
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog
  • Ensure team adherence to Agile processes and monitor key metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.)
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively
  • Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve cross-team coordination
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams on sprint progress and delivery timelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience working with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Rally)
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional, distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) , SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) , or equivalent certification
  • Experience in scaled agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
  • Background in software development or technical project management is a plus

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid model – Candidate should be open to working from the Pune office 2–3 days per week as per project needs
