Staff Design Verification Engineer

As a Design Verification Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for logic firmware design verification of Micron’s non-volatile memory designs, including advanced 3D NAND and other new technologies.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Functional verification on Micron’s non-volatile memory design projectsThoroughly understand design specs and develop verification plans for various designsTestBench Development in SystemVerilog targeting complete functionality coverageSupport of SystemVerilog assertion and coverage-driven methodologySupport of design verification methodology improvementsRun directed verification testsYou will think through design corner cases and be able to write relevant cover pointsCollaborate with Firmware development team to debug test cases and deliver functionally accurate designsClose coverage measures to identify verification holes and to show progress towards tape-outMinimum Qualifications:MS or BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent0-15 of experience developing verification collateral in Verilog, System VerilogPrior work experience with directed verification using SVADeep knowledge on circuit design, digital logic, and logic verification methodologyUnderstanding on Verilog RTL coding, SystemVerilog object-oriented languageGood knowledge on programming language C/C++, scripting language like Python, TCL and PERLPreferred Skills:Knowledge of Non-volatile memory design is highly desiredStrong communication skills both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills and maintain positive relationshipsAmbitious and goal orientedCollaborate effectively in a dynamic team environmentTesting and debugging structured firmware in simulation environment
Understanding of firmware design, development and debugging is a plus
