Overview

The aim of the mobile senior developer role is to participate in Analysis, Prototyping, Developing, Unit testing and supporting complete secure software development lifecycle of mobile apps. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience in developing mobile applications. Candidate will be expected to create & enhance enterprise application across mobile platforms, assess impacts on the existing systems as new modules/functions are added and ability to guide & co-ordinate visual designers in the right UX design for mobile platforms. Experience working in any one of the following business domain would be preferable: Superannuation, Shareholder registry systems

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

Responsibility to develop, quick to market, high quality IT solutions within an agile environmentThis will require full project exposure from start up to completionExtremely adaptable and quick to pick up new business concepts within a unique business environmentEngage proactively with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members in the development of IT solutionsWork within a team of developers assisting in: time estimates task allocations problem solvingTo strive for continuous improvement of both technical and business knowledgeProvision of regular feedback, mentoring, coaching and assistance to the team’s development needsTo assist with the development of new team standards, methodologies and processes to increase both the quality and efficiency of the development workEnsure all assigned work is delivered within agreed timeframes and quality parameters, in accordance with stakeholder expectationsBuild productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders and other cross-functional team membersProvide input to business processes in order to provide commercially sound solutionsGenerates innovative solutions to problems and seeks ways to improve business services and processesUnderstands the strategic objectives of MUFG and how IT Solutions will support the achievement of theseExperience & Personal Attributes

3--5 years of development experience across mobile platforms including Xamarin, Native Android & Native iOS. Android skills are MUST.Understanding and knowledge of Google Material Design, Apple HIG, Xamarin Forms & can develop complex UI designs using AndroidX/Jetpack framework libraries, Storyboard & UIKit, XAML.Strong Object oriented programming skills with one of the programming languages, (Kotlin/Java/ Swift/.NET)Worked with RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them using Reactive programming pattern libraries like Retrofit and RxJava & RxAndroid or Kotlin Coroutines, AlamoFire, RXSwift, ReactiveSwift,Advanced knowledge of using dependency managers like Cocoa-pods and/or Carthage, NugetSigning/Packaging apps for build & deploy to GooglePlay/Testflight/Appstoreconnect using Gradle/MSBuild/ XCode.Strong debugging techniques on mobile platform.Advanced knowledge with Git.Appreciation for choosing between MVVM/MVP/MVC/Clean architecture for UI/presentation layer developmentCI/CD experience with Appcenter & Azure DevopsGood communicator who can express thoughts both verbally and writtenCommitted to sustainable development, testing and high-quality secure code by applying OWASP MSTG principles.Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologyAny previous mobiles applications submitted to stores.Github public profile
