Software Deployment - Systems Integration International


Job Description

Manages the deployment of Motorola Solutions products, particularly Software Deployments, Software Upgrades, Software Licenses and Product Lifecycle with customers after acceptance, while leading a growing team of Project Managers across International, as direct reports.


Engage with Customers post-sale to drive user adoption and satisfaction, ensuring high Customer retention. Forge highly effective customer partnerships and establish a trusted advisor/strategic partner relationship with target accounts. Work with targeted Customers to develop a proactive individual Customer Success Plan including establishing critical goals and key performance indicators.


Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrade of existing software solutions. Manages projects from inception to completion, including tracking and evaluation of project performance. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Coordinates and participates in project reviews and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes project management methodologies and Polaris, to ensure maximum project effectiveness, including handovers from pre-sales, and handovers to maintenance. Motivates the project team to ensure optimal performance.


Drives the development of business plans, strategies, initiatives, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities and continious improvement areas.


Basic Requirements

  • People Management Skills
  • 5+ years of project or engineering experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety communications systems, Cellular infrastructure, Military communications, Civil construction OR IT Networks in a Software context
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Salesforce, Project Financials including P&L and TPB
  • PM Masters Certificate or PMP a plus.
  • Understanding of two way radio / cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems
  • Experienced in managing an environment of software deloyment and maintenance
  • Understanding of local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.
  • Must be a self motivated team player able to work effectively as an individual and driving a team of Project Managers, with general guidance towards objectives.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
