Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a DevOps Engineer at Energy ETA. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems using Node.js, serverless architecture, and AWS services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions that meet the needs of our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in backend development and AWS technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC), Software Development, and Continuous Integration skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Serverless Framework and AWS SAM to deploy applications.
  • Implement, manage, and optimize AWS Lambda functions, SQS , and other AWS services.
  • Design and manage MongoDB databases and integrate with other systems like Kafka .
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS .
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex systems to resolve issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.
  • Proficiency in serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and AWS SAM .
  • Hands-on experience with AWS SQS , MongoDB , and Kafka .
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Knowledge of designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with system design and microservices architecture.
