Department APAC Regional Supply Chain - Ethicon Job Title Lead - APAC Ethicon Demand Planning & IBP Reports to Senior Manager - APAC Ethicon Demand Planning & IBP Responsibilities & Proficiencies APAC Ethicon Demand Planning & IBP (Integrated Business Planning) lead is responsible for demand planning and IBP processes across Asia Pacific Region for business unit/s within Ethicon Business. Key responsibilities: • Lead the consensus and statistical forecasting over 12/24-month horizon to build demand plans for long term manufacturing / capacity planning. • Leverage advance statistical tools to generate best in class statistical forecast. • Drive cross functional Demand Review and IBP forums and analyse demand plans with respect to business/financial plans (BP/FP) to ensure aligned business priorities/outcomes. Ensure relevant E2E stakeholder communication and alignments. • Gather business insights on demand plan assumptions, opportunities, and risks. Evaluate various scenarios for effective Demand/Supply trade off decisions and event management. • Build and leverage advance demand analytics to root cause and improve demand planning performance metrics (MAPE/BIAS). Deploy demand segmentation to identify focus areas and drive fact-based decision demand intervention. Leverage FVA (Forecast Value Add) based approach to identify process improvements and help achieve MAPE/BIAS targets. • Establish governance for New Product Launch plans for on time launch and improved demand planning signals. • Conduct product management review to reflect long term portfolio strategies in demand plans. This includes Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Phase-In/Phase-Out(PIPO). • Ensure the business continuity by handling the supply & demand events. Closely collaborate with Supply planning teams for timely product availability/service levels in the Markets. • This position builds tools and processes to elevate Demand Planning and IBP capabilities. Also help build people capabilities in this space across organization (especially Market Demand Planning Teams). • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any advance planning system/tool deployments for Demand Planning and IBP. Align Business requirements for system updates, assess change impacts and conduct business simulation testing for effective deployment/adoption. • Enable intelligent process automation and touchless supply chain through digital initiatives. Proficient in Data handling and Analytics. • Build strong working relationship/partnership with regional cross-functional (like Commercial, Finance) and Market/Region/Global Supply Chain stakeholders. • Ensures maintenance of correct set ups/parameters across systems for seamless demand data flows. • Responsible for analyzing and deriving actionable insights to improve Key Performance Indicators. Develop and implement corrective action plans. • Improve MAPE & BIAS, FVA • Optimize Inventory ($ & DOS). Reduce SLOB. • Improve Product availability (OTIF), Reduce Stock outs/Back Orders. Qualifications: • Bachelor's in Engineering or Science • Master's in business administration (Specialization in Supply Chain/Operations Management) Desirable: • IBF and/or APICS Certification Professional Experience: • 4 years of relevant Supply Chain experience. Digital Skills: • Exposure to Advance forecasting tools (like Anaplan, IQast), Advance Planning Systems (Like APO, OMP) • Analytical and Automation Tools (Like Power BI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx) • Relevant Data science certifications Johnson & Johnson is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
