QA Lead with Automation Expertise in Playwright

Role/Responsibilities:

Leadership and Coordination: Lead daily QA standups and other key project meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, testing priorities, and status updates.Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and establish clear quality expectations.Automation Strategy Development: Define and implement automation strategies that maximize test coverage for critical system features and functions.Test Planning and Review: Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated tests usingPlaywright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, ensuring that all test plans and cases meet quality standards.Documentation and Reporting: Manage comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports in Jira. Generate quality assurance reports and communicate results and insights effectively to stakeholders.Quality Control: Conduct root cause analysis for issues, lead efforts in identifying and addressingquality risks, and continuously refining the QA process.Team Mentorship and Development: Mentor and guide QA team members, providing support and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Regression and Release Readiness: Coordinate and conduct regular regression testing and sign-off processes to ensure release readiness and system stability.

Requirement:

Experience: 5+ years in web automation testing, with a strong focus on automation strategy and QA leadership.Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading QA teams, developing QA processes, and drivingautomation initiatives.Automation and Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript.Experience with API testing, SQL, and relational databases.Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub) and version control systems.Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.Experience with Azure, Jira, and Confluence for project management and documentation.Networking and Infrastructure Knowledge: Basic understanding of network infrastructure and monitoring tools (e.g., SNMP, ICMP, Cisco).

Nice to Have:Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and any object-oriented programming language (OOP). Performance testing experience is a plus.
