Role OverviewPrimary focus is UI/UX and ReactJS for our live CompliEase platform, with light FastAPI work (small endpoints, schema updates, and integrations). You’ll also help on our marketing website (AWS Lightsail, PHP/HTML).Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & ship new front-end features in ReactJS ; convert Figma wireframes/prototypes into responsive, accessible components.Maintain our design system (tokens, reusable components) using Material UI / Ant Design / Tailwind .Work with backend engineers to consume and improve APIs; handle state management, caching, error states .FastAPI (lite) work:Add/modify small endpoints, routes, and controllers.Define/update Pydantic request/response models; align OpenAPI docs.Write basic unit tests, troubleshoot API issues, and perform Postman /curl testing.Use PostgreSQL for simple reads/writes supporting UI features (filters, pagination, metrics).Keep the company website up to date (AWS Lightsail, PHP/HTML/CSS/JS ).Own delivery via Git (branching, PRs, code reviews) and assist with basic deployment steps.Ensure performance , cross-browser responsiveness , and WCAG-aligned accessibility.Must-Have SkillsReactJS , JavaScript/TypeScript , HTML5/CSS3Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, interactive prototypes)FastAPI (basic CRUD endpoints, Pydantic models, OpenAPI awareness)PostgreSQL (writing safe queries, understanding schemas)Git workflows; comfort with build/deploy basicsOne modern UI library: Material UI / Ant Design / Tailwind CSSGood-to-HavePHP basics (for Lightsail site tweaks)Accessibility (WCAG), Framer Motion /animation libsAuth flows familiarity (cookies/JWT), API pagination, rate limitingAgile/Scrum, Jira, CI/CD; enterprise SaaS or data-heavy dashboards experienceWork Setup & TimingRemote within India.Hardware: Use your own laptop for the initial months; company laptop provided after.Connectivity/Workspace: Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional setup.Hours: Flexible, with mandatory overlap with the U.S. team 9:00 PM–12:00 AM U.S. Central Time (CT) .Typically 7:30–10:30 AM IST (during U.S. daylight savings) or 8:30–11:30 AM IST (standard time).Remaining hours are flexible.What We OfferCompetitive pay + ESOPsHigh ownership; chance to shape our design system and front-end architectureA mission-driven product with real customer impactEducationBachelor’s degree in Design/CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.How to ApplyEmail your resume and portfolio (Figma links or case studies) to Subject: UI/UX Developer – ReactJS + FastAPI (Remote India)Optional Screening (include in your email)Links to 1–2 UI case studies that went to production.A React PR or component you built (GitHub link) and a short note on the problem it solved.A tiny FastAPI example (endpoint + Pydantic model) or a brief API bug you fixed.One PostgreSQL query you wrote to power a UI filter/table (explain briefly).Key Skills: ReactJS, UI/UX, Figma, Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, FastAPI, Python (Basics), PostgreSQL, Git, OpenAPI, Postman, AWS Lightsail, PHP, Accessibility, Responsive Design, Design System, Web Performance
