Deepti provides services for children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Downs Syndrome, and Intellectual and Learning Disabilities. It also offers guidance and counseling to parents and support programs for the needy, particularly women and children. Deepti operates several institutions, including Deepti Special School and Rehabilitation Centre, Deepti Vocational Training Centre, Deepti Child Development Centre, Little Flower Montessori and Pre-School, and Ignite Counselling & Guidance Centre, all located in Kerala.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Developmental Therapist at Deepti Child developmental center located in Adoor. The Developmental Therapist will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for children with special needs, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with multidisciplinary therapy teams, monitoring and documenting progress, and providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Skills in assessing developmental needs and developing treatment plans
• Experience in conducting therapy sessions and using evidence-based practices
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively
• Strong documentation and progress monitoring skills
• Compassionate and patient approach towards children with special needs
• Relevant certifications and experience in developmental therapy or related fields
• Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the local cultural context is beneficial.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Developmental Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
