Job Description :


We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join the client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and ETL processes using tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, or AWS Glue. Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns such as Lambda, Kafka, or streaming technologies is a plus.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, optimization, and management of data pipelines and data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data processing and high data quality.

What you'll do for us :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.

- Utilize ETL tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, or AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Optimize data storage and retrieval methods to enhance performance and minimize costs.

- Implement data integration strategies to unify data from disparate sources and create a seamless data ecosystem.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout data pipelines.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.

- Monitor data processes and systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.

- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and incorporate them into existing workflows.

- Utilize event-driven architecture patterns such as Lambda, Kafka, or streaming technologies to enable real-time data processing and analytics.

What you'll have :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on developing and maintaining data pipelines.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho, Talend, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, or AWS Glue.

- Familiarity with event-driven architecture concepts such as Lambda, Kafka, or streaming technologies is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address data-related issues effectively.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
