Roles & Responsibilities:

Be part of a team of experienced generalists who are in charge of creating our systems to the highest engineering standards, utilizing best practices and cutting-edge technologies.Manage technological debt by applying our re-usable platform approach, and guide technology choices with industry-wide impact by implementing our Open-Source strategy.In conjunction with Domain architects, Developers, and stakeholders, guide new ideas all the way to production.Contribute to projects by providing high-level architecture concepts and models, dependency analysis, task prioritization, effort estimates, and resource requests, and assisting in the definition and assertion of non-functional needs.

Essential Qualifications:Previous experience as a System/Software Architect in Automotive or other mixed-criticality systems15+ years of professional experience as a System/Software ArchitectExtensive experience in Embedded Systems developmentExtensive knowledge with common Automotive operating systems (Yocto Linux, QNX, RTOS)Leadership skills to contribute to a healthy engineering culture and coach Domain Architects and developersProficiency in problem solving, troubleshooting technical issues and supplier managementAbility to deal with conflicts and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentExtensive familiarity with Software Architecture patterns, such as process and IPC architecturesThorough knowledge of applicable standards and standard technologies in both SW and HWSuperior architectural diagramming abilities, including UMLExcellent technical research and writing skills, particularly the ability to organize, summarize, and convey materialKnowledge with architectural modeling tools, such as Rhapsody or Enterprise ArchitectKnowledge of or experience with requirements engineering and requirements management tool
