Audio Firmware Architect:

The position will primarily be for Infotainment segment customers, which are the areas targeted for ambitious business growthYou will engage with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs

and help to define and deliver high-value solutions that meet these needsBy understanding the overall end-customer-product/application-use-case you will break it down into different solutions components (silicon, platform, firmware, security, software, libraries etc.)You will technically coordinate a small team of talented engineersInvolve to the Audio System design and Development of technical requirement for Audio SW/FirmwareKey team responsibility includes development and maintenance of embedded software for IC's with focus on automotive Infotainment applicationsDevelop the Audio SW algorithm, framework and Firmware Code for various automotive platformTranslation of requirements to module level functionality together with architectsCreation and maintenance of unit testsInteract closely with Audio validation team and other stakeholdersPreparation and contribution to review procedures

Essential skills:

Advanced C/C++ and Assembly Coding skillsExperience in DSP SW architecture, Embedded System design and implementation in an RTOS environmentGood understanding of Audio system domain, Digital signal processing and Knowledge of fixed point programming techniquesStrong software debugging skills using JTAG, Emulator or SimulatorExperience with communication protocol such as SPI, I2C, PCIe etc.Experience with embedded development toolchains, debugging tools and version control systemsExperience in continuous Development and integration environment (Jenkins, Bamboo etc.)A very good team player with good interpersonal, planning, excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsInnovative thinking and willingness to work in new areas

Preferred skills:

Solid understanding of compiler, linker, loader and other toolsPrototype new features on MATLAB or equivalent and demonstrate using SimulationExperience with Audio Peripherals such as ADC, DAC, SPDIF, PCM, IIS, TDM, PDM etc.Experience with SVN or Atlassian tool such as JIRA, Bitbucket and confluence

Experience in working in an agile software development environmentRF Domain experience is added advantage for Simulcast RoleKnowledge and experience using Audio precision, Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer and Logic Analyzer.Good understanding of HW systems and ability to read / understand schematics and layout filesAware of quality process, ASPICE or ISO26262
