Title : SAP Basis Lead - Pune Location
Location : Pune, India
Experience : 5+ years
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of SAP Basis L1 engineers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Manage the day-to-day operations of SAP Basis activities, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute SAP system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
Implement and maintain SAP best practices for system security, user administration, and authorization management.
Perform system health checks, system refreshes, and backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system uptime.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
Proven experience in leading and managing SAP Basis L1 teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture, SAP HANA database administration, and SAP Solution Manager.
Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration) will be a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SAP cloud solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform) will be an advantage.
