Job Description: As a Laravel Developer at PodUp, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling our podcast hosting platform. Working with modern technologies like and , you will be responsible for implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring our platform runs smoothly for podcasters everywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PodUps core platform using Laravel, , and
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure optimal performance and scalability of the platform, especially as our user base grows.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing code to enhance the platform.
  • Design and manage database structures in MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Ensure the security of the platform through proactive threat assessments and solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and work closely with other developers to maintain high code quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-9 years of professional experience working with Laravel.
  • Strong experience with for front-end development.
  • Solid knowledge of and experience in server-side development.
  • Proficient in MySQL with experience in optimizing queries and database structures.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with SaaS applications (preferred).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a remote team environment.
