The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of airline operations, systems, and processes, with a proven track record in project management, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership.Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end delivery of airline domain projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives are met- Engage closely with airline clients to understand business needs, define project scope, and translate them into actionable plans- Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies using agile/waterfall or hybrid methodologies- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, business analysts, and third-party vendors- Monitor and report project progress through regular status updates, dashboards, and stakeholder meetings- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and quality standards in all project phases- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices- Support pre-sales activities such as RFP responses, estimations, and client presentations (as required)Required Skills and Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus- 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3-5 years managing projects in the airline or aviation industry- Strong knowledge of airline systems such as PSS (Passenger Service Systems), DCS (Departure Control Systems), revenue management, loyalty systems, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul)- Hands-on experience in managing enterprise applications, digital transformation, or system integration projects in airline context- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills- Familiarity with tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar- Ability to work in a global delivery model and manage geographically distributed teamsPreferred Qualifications:- Prior experience working with Tier-1 airline clients or global aviation service providers- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe, etc.)- Exposure to IATA standards and airline regulatory frameworks
