Diagnostic Testing: Conducting various tests to assess patients' hearing ability, including audiograms, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and auditory brainstem response (ABR) tests.

Assessment and Evaluation: Analyzing test results to diagnose hearing loss or balance disorders and determining the extent and nature of the condition.

Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs, which may include hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices, or auditory training.

Hearing Aid Fitting and Programming: Recommending, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids to ensure optimal performance and patient satisfaction.

Counseling and Rehabilitation: Providing counseling and guidance to patients and their families on coping strategies, communication techniques, and hearing conservation practices. They may also offer rehabilitation services to help patients adapt to hearing loss.

Balance Assessment and Management: Assessing and treating balance disorders, which may involve vestibular testing, canalith repositioning maneuvers (e.g., Epley maneuver), or vestibular rehabilitation therapy.

Research and Education: Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in audiology research and technology and participating in continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications.

Collaboration: Working closely with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists (ENT doctors), speech-language pathologists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care for patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of patient evaluations, test results, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Community Outreach: Engaging in outreach activities to raise awareness about hearing health, promote early detection of hearing loss, and provide education on hearing conservation and rehabilitation.
