Overview: We are seeking a skilled IAM Developer/Engineer with expertise in building and automating RESTful APIs for user provisioning and deprovisioning.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with automation tools, and a deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IAM Application Development:
  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain all layers of IAM applications, including authorization/authentication and account management.
  • Develop role-based access automation based on employee job titles/roles.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful API automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or C# for provisioning and deprovisioning users.
  • Document API endpoints, calls, and responses to ensure clarity and ease of use.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Selenium and ServiceNow’s API.
  • Analyze business processes and develop automation scripts to streamline operations.
  • Utilize GIT for version control and collaboration.
  • Perform integration, functional, and regression testing to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Implement and manage single sign-on solutions using SAML2, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
  • Engage with external vendors to connect applications with SP/IdP-Initiated SSO and make business decisions on attribute-level mappings per IAM best practices.
  • Configure API integrations between internal SaaS applications as it relates to IAM and attribute mappings/provisioning.
  • Manage and refine a Role-Based Security framework, producing schema designs and operational plans for enforcement.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IAM development or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, including making calls, handling responses, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or C#.
  • Experience with ServiceNow API and Selenium for automation.
  • Proficient with GIT for version control.
  • Skilled in integration, functional, and regression testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Identity Management Concepts - Identity Providers (IdP), Service Providers (SP), Single Sign-On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • Strong understanding of role-based access control and security frameworks.
