IBM DataPower Developer

Responsibilities include:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement integrations with various systems and applicationsDesign, develop, and implement solutions using IBM DataPower Gateway X3 to meet business requirements for integration, security, and performance.Develop and maintain DataPower services, including XML Firewall, Multi-Protocol Gateway, and Web Service ProxyDevelop and maintain API Gateway policies, including security policies, traffic management policies, and transformation policiesImplement security measures, such as authentication and authorization, to ensure the protection of data and resourcesMonitor and optimize DataPower performance, capacity, and scalabilityTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to DataPower configurations, integrations, and performance.Developing and maintaining documentation to facilitate ease of use for both internal and external developers.

Certifications :IBM Certified Solution Implementer - DataPower Gateway

Primary Skills :Minimum 5 years of experience in IT industryGood expertise in enterprise integration, API management and middleware technologies.Minimum 3 years of experience with IBM EAI tools like IBM Data Power, CP4I and IBM MQMinimum 2 projects with experience in designing, developing, and supporting IBM DataPower Gateway X3 appliancesGood experience in implementation of Web Service Proxy, Multi-Protocol Gateway, XML Firewall serviceGood experience in AAA (authentication, authorization, auditing) and Customization of AAA PolicyGood experience in SSL Proxy configuration and certificate managementGood experience in SOAP and/or REST-based Web services with emphasis on Security, including familiarity of SSL/TLS, WS-Security and federated security.Good experience in error handling & logging in DataPowerExperience with XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and other related technologiesStrong understanding of API management concepts, including RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and API securityExperience with API security, authentication, and authorization protocols.Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or BashGood monitoring, logging and troubleshooting skills

Secondary Skills :Experience with cloud service providers like AWS/Azure/GCPStrong communication, written, and presentation skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
