Responsibilities
- Minimum work experience of a completed (either partially – 50% or fully – 100%) Detailed Design project / DPR works with focus on designing aspects
- Experience working on Proof checking, Authority/Independent Engineering projects.
- Lead and manage the
geometric design of highways
, expressways, and rural roads per IRC and MoRTH standards. - Proficiency in
AutoCAD Civil 3D
(Plan and profile drawings, Corridor Modelling, Multiple cross-sections, Earthwork, Sub-assembly composer, etc.), KGPBack, IITPave, etc. - Strong knowledge of highway design standards (IRC, or other relevant codes).
- Experience with pavement design, drainage design-analysis, and traffic engineering.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and best practices.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, surveyors and environmental engineers, etc.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their design deliverables.
- Interact with clients, government agencies (like MoRTH, NHAI, PWD, etc.), and contractors.
- Prepare documentation for DPRs, feasibility studies, and technical presentations.
Qualifications
Master in Transportation/ Highway Engineering with minimum 2-3 years of experience in core highway design
