Job Summary :

We are looking for a Sr. Data Governance Product Owner to lead the IDQ/EDC/Axon/DGDC team for the design, development & deployment of Data Quality and Data Governance deliveries.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data governance requirements and translate them into technical solution.

- Establish and solution design data lineage information to enable end-to-end traceability and impact analysis.

- Continuously update and enrich the data catalog with new data assets and changes in existing assets.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as data architects, data engineers, and business analysts, to integrate Informatica Axon and EDC with other data management systems.

- Collaborate with data integration teams to establish automated data ingestion and metadata extraction processes.

- Collaborating with various business and technical teams to capture requirements and design, configure, document, and develop objects, rules, and reference data tables.

- Provide support and training to end users and data stewards to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Informatica Axon and EDC

- Solution design Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) program and Data Governance & Policies (DGP) tool metrics, KPIs, assessments, data visualizations, and reports (e.g., metrics and dashboards to show progress, impacts to data, data quality metrics, progress towards federal objectives (e.g., FDS and OMB), etc.).

- Solution design a CDGC framework, processes, procedures, policies, communications, training, and metrics to better manage SSA's data assets.

- Solution design DGP workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) (e.g., change mgmt., issue tracking, submission, and approval workflows, connecting downstream systems etc.).

- Develop a plan to influence/govern the data lifecycle starting with data capture / acquisition behaviors to enhance data quality and completeness (creation, acquisition, privacy, integrity, security, quality, and use of data and information (data lifecycle)).

- Assist with developing and implementing DGP governance and execution, operating model, role and license management, conceptual models and data architecture, and implementation plan.

- Assist with developing a validation process and criteria to designate data assets captured in the DGP as authoritative.

- Work very closely with Data Governance Leader, Data Quality Lead and other team members to perform Metadata management and integration use cases using Informatica EDC.

- Review/ design the future state meta-model/operating model that can be used for subsequent implementations.

- Researching and recommending new and emerging DQ technologies, methodologies, and standards.

- Help define policies to build DQ rules in DG tools and use them in DQ tool and integrate with DQ rules built in DQ tool with DG tools for Scorecards & dashboards.

- Work closely with Metadata & DQ Leads and define Integration methodologies among the DQ, DG & Metadata tools (AXON, EDC- Enterprise Data Catalog & IDQ) for business assets, technical assets, data quality rules & scorecards.

- Good experience on Axon agent integration with Informatica Data Quality

- Define and implement the standard and local DQ rules to create more trust on the data assets.

- Provide support, training to the end users and data stewards to ensure effective adoption and utilization of Informatica Axon and EDC/ CDGC

- Design data governance workflows, policies, and standards in Informatica Axon

- Good to have experience on IDMC architecture and Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Integration and CDGC micro services.

- Perform requirement analysis for technical metadata, business metadata, data lineage, relationship, data quality and domain classification.

- Responsible to manage tasks independently and take ownership to complete them.

- Collaborating with integration teams to develop data quality strategies and enterprise ETL design patterns aligned with the enterprise data models.

- Resolving complex functional issues as they relate to data quality architecture, performance, and various tools, working closely with technical team members.

- Understand the current data state processes business rules, data rules, reports and monitor the process day to day, propose the changes for process improvements.

- Good leadership skills including knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, mentoring and training the teams

- Strong work ethic with a highly positive, hands-on, can-do attitude, and flexible team player

Qualifications :

- Bachelors in engineering, Science or equivalent.

- 10+ years of relevant Data management project implementation experience.

- 5+ years of hands on Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog 10.5, Informatica Axon 7.2, Informatica Data Quality 10.5 configuration experience

- Certifications in any DG tool like Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.

- Knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting

- Compliance Knowledge : Understanding of data privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOX, Inform Act, etc.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with cloud-based data storage like AWS, Azure, or GCP is beneficial.

- Strong work experience on data profiling, scorecards, metadata management and business glossaries

- Need someone who can deliver "Data Products" with a product development mindset.

- Define product roadmap, requirements and features and managing product timelines

- Support analysis of product performance through logs and other sources to assist in troubleshooting and enhancing our products.

- Participate in and contribute to functional discussions; understand the product roadmap

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure customer satisfaction and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision making
