Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Civil

Location: Verna Industrial Estate

Mode : On-Site

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Experience Required: 1- 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction quantity surveying.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Preferred : Female Candidates and from Goa

Role Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic project team. This role will be pivotal in managing cost estimation, budgeting, and billing for a variety of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of construction materials and processes, and proficiency in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and calculate material and labor quantities from drawings and site measurements.
• Perform detailed material take-offs to ensure precise quantification.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets, considering materials, labor, equipment, and contingencies.
• Conduct rate analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness and monitor project costs.
• Prepare and process interim and final payment certificates.
• Review and verify contractor bills for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and maintain detailed BOQs aligned with project specifications.
• Maintain meticulous cost records and project documentation.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and budgeting for civil construction projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Expertise in preparing and analyzing BOQs, rate analysis, and material take-offs.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, MS Excel, Google Workspace, and any estimation software.
