Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Backend Developer

with a specialization in

Node.js

to join our dynamic development team. This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture for mobile applications and websites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and integrating APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance in all deliverables.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to create seamless digital solutions that meet business and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:Develop Scalable Backends :Build robust and efficient server-side applications using

Node.js .Optimize backend systems for speed and scalability.API Development & Integration :Design, develop, and document RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless data flow between services.Database Management :Design and manage relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.Ensure data consistency, security, and backup strategies.Code Quality & Best Practices :Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.Collaboration & Troubleshooting :Work with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.Security & Compliance :Implement security best practices to protect user data.Ensure backend systems comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).Continuous Improvement :Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them when appropriate.Advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge tools and frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications :Core Technical Skills :Proficiency in

Node.js

and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS).Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.Expertise in designing and working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Complementary Skills :Familiarity with frontend technologies for API integration (e.g., React, Angular).Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Soft Skills :Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience :2+ years

of professional experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on

Node.js .Proven track record of building backends for mobile apps and websites.Demonstrated expertise in API design, development, and integration.
