Function Description: Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in providing payments & financing solutions for Small, Medium and Large businesses. To ensure we keep on the forefront of the dynamic commercial payments landscape, the GCS Strategy, M&A and Alliances team is charged with defining the long-term business objectives, setting businesses priorities, and driving strategic growth opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. The Op Ex CoE team is passionate about providing a consistent & standardized Financial/Op Ex reporting mechanism for GCS leaders, enabling timely identification of risks and opportunities and agile reinvestments across the organization. Purpose of the Role: This role will support Sr. Manager (B35) of GCS Opex CoE team in end-to-end financial consolidation & reporting. Also, candidate will execute and enhance results analysis, financial planning, and ongoing Risk & Opportunities assessments to drive enterprise value in decision support. Responsibilities: Lead monthly results analysis and consolidation for GCS Opex P&L, bring useful insights to support better understanding of business performance, key trends and its impact on future performance Detailed tracking and reporting of GCS Headcount along with variance commentary and trend analysis Manage the Annual Plan, Long Range Planning process in close collaboration with Finance & Business Partners Identification of risks/opportunities, implementation of cost controls, and provision of meaningful commentaries and analysis Drive process transformation through innovation and automation Develop content and analysis for presentation to senior leaders Perform root cause analysis on adhoc queries and respond within SLA Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Finance, GCS Business Partners and internal teams to drive optimal output and deliver efficient reporting capabilities Ensure controls & risk governance with evolving AXP Control framework Flexibility to operate across different time zones and shifts Critical Factors to Success: Pro-actively develop meaningful data insights/trends to enable finance decision support to our customer’s/business partners for more effective planning, forecasting & investment decisions activities Ability to handle high pressure environment with aggressive deadlines while balancing long term / short term impacts and multiple priorities and customers Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines Collaborate well with stakeholders spread across different geographies Develop, implement & maintain intelligent automated solutions for forecasting through enterprise technologies such as TM1 Functional Skills/Capabilities: Accurately deliver on GCS Opex Financial results & variance explanations Ability to create presentation for senior management Ability to work well under pressure and to balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines Technical bent of mind to drive automated solutions and process efficiency Strong understanding of LOB/P&L/Segment reporting/statistical reporting Must have good communication, Interpersonal and collaboration skills Minimum Qualifications B.COM/BBA or MBA (Finance) with 2-3 years of experience Past Experience 2-3 years of experience in Finance/ accounting processes Preferred: Prior experience of planning & forecasting and financial insights Technical Skills/Knowledge of Platforms: Must be very proficient in using MS Excel (advance level) & MS Power Point Ability to use platforms and tools such as TM1, Oracle Smart View, SQL Queries, Ariba Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Tableau/ Power BI and Lumi (would be a great advantage) We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
