Job Description: Senior Site Engineer (Installation & Commissioning)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team.
This role is pivotal in leading the installation and commissioning of Effluent Treatment
Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). The ideal candidate will
demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to
delivering high-quality solutions to meet client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians
throughout the installation and commissioning process, ensuring projects are
completed on time and within budget.
* Technical Execution: Oversee and execute the setup and integration of
treatment plant systems, ensuring compliance with client requirements and
relevant industry standards.
* Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams,
contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and integration of all
systems.
* Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during
installation and commissioning phases, minimizing downtime and maintaining
quality standards.
* Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all activities, including installation
progress, testing results, and any modifications made to designs or systems.
* Training & Support: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior
engineers and technicians to build team capabilities and ensure seamless
project execution.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all components and systems are tested
thoroughly and meet or exceed safety, efficiency, and operational standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical
Engineering.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the installation and
commissioning of ETPs and STPs.
* Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of effluent treatment processes,
systems, and equipment.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve
complex technical issues effectively.
* Teamwork: Ability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary
teams.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to
coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
* Standards Compliance: Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and best
practices related to effluent and sewage treatment systems.
