Position Overview: Junior Architect

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Architect to join our team at Studio Hyderabad. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. As a Junior Architect, you will play a crucial role in our design process, working closely with our team to create and deliver innovative architectural solutions. The position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in meaningful design work, where the focus will be on understanding and enhancing spatial quality. You will be involved in various stages of the design process, including architectural design, working drawings, 3D modelling, and physical model-making.

At Studio Hyderabad, you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful design projects and develop your skills in a collaborative and creative environment. You will work closely with experienced architects and designers who are committed to nurturing talent and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the architectural design process, contributing fresh ideas and design solutions that align with the studio’s vision.
  • Develop detailed working drawings and architectural documentation.
  • Create 3D models and physical models to visualise design concepts.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure spatial quality is prioritised throughout the design process.
  • Work on architectural visualisation, including rendering and post-production.
  • Ensure that all design work meets the high standards of functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Strong skills in architectural design, with a passion for creating meaningful spaces.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Expertise in rendering software such as Lumion and D5 for high-quality visualisation.
  • Competency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for post-production work.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • A keen interest in learning and growing within the field of architecture, with an emphasis on spatial quality and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Architecture and Architectural Design skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Software Skills such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup.
  • Strong Rendering Skills such as Lumion, D5
  • Excellent common on Adobe Photoshop & Adoeb Illustrator
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
