Senior Back End Engineer
to join our team full-time in India.We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As a Senior Back End Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow who is working with a leading enterprise AI SaaS company for digital transformation across the most critical and resilient growth industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, financial crime prevention, manufacturing, media, and IT service management. Since its founding in 2017, our client serves 1500+ Enterprise customers globally and has grown to 2,500 talented leaders, data scientists, and other professionals across over 20 countries.
Responsibilities
Work as part of an agile development team within our Financial Crime Prevention Product Engineering teamUnderstand all functional and non-functional requirements, translate these into a solid design and follow through with implementation, code review and testing activitiesWork towards frequent high-quality releases and meet deadlinesIntroduce innovative technologies and improve existing codeCollaborate with other teams in design workshopsTake full responsibility for test-driven development and work effectively with QATake the initiative and assume ownership for tasks or problemsImprove practices and design principles
Requirements
Languages: TypeScript, NodeJSFramework: NestJSUnderstanding of GraphQL and REST APIExperience with continuous integration tools such as GitHub ActionsUnderstanding of software development lifecycles and best practices (DDD, TDD, BDD)Containerization with tools like Docker, KubernetesDatabases: PostgreSQLCaching: RedisSearch engines: ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, etc.Data streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis, etc.
