Affiliated with BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science & Technology, CIIC focuses on disruptive technologies in Industry 4.0, Life Sciences, and Smart & Clean Mobility. The organization operates a state-of-the-art 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Chennai and collaborates with various institutions to deliver courses in social and life sciences entrepreneurship.
Role Description :
Key Responsibilities & Requirements :
- Hardware Systems Management
: Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance across all hardware infrastructure. - Network Infrastructure Administration
: Design, implement, and maintain network systems including switches, routers, firewalls, and networking equipment. Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues to ensure reliable operations. - CCTV & Security Monitoring
: Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and access control technologies. - System Maintenance & Updates
: Execute routine maintenance tasks including system backups, security updates, antivirus protection, and performance optimization. Maintain system uptime through proactive monitoring and preventive care.
Qualifications:
o
Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
o
Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in hardware and network administration.
o
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining hardware systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
o
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
o
Proficiency in Monitoring & maintaining CCTV surveillance systems
o
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
o
Certifications in relevant hardware and networking technologies
CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
