We are seeking a skilled and experienced GCP BigQuery Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing BigQuery solutions.

This role requires proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts to build scalable and efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design : Design and architect data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using BigQuery, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Data Modeling : Develop and maintain data models and schemas in BigQuery, optimizing for query performance and data retrieval.

ETL Development : Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into BigQuery from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Query Optimization : Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets in BigQuery, utilizing features such as partitioning, clustering, and caching.

Integration : Integrate BigQuery with other GCP services and third-party tools to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.

Data Governance : Implement data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring : Monitor BigQuery performance and resource utilization, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.

Documentation : Document data models, ETL processes, and query optimizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Collaboration : Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest GCP and BigQuery features and best practices, continuously improving skills and processes to drive business value.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 4 to 7 years of professional experience in GCP and BigQuery development.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, with a focus on BigQuery.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Experience with SQL programming and query optimization in BigQuery.

- Knowledge of data modeling techniques and methodologies.

- Familiarity with ETL tools and techniques for data integration.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
