(Job Code):EN-DR-89: Interiors Computer Aided Design Engineer (CAD)PURPOSE OF THE JOBIs accountable for the interiors parts engineering of passenger interiors and/or front end and/or driver cab in compliance with the Centre of Excellence Interiors QCD commitmentsORGANISATIONOrganisation structure (job belongs to..)Reports to: Interiors Engineering Group LeaderPerformance MeasurementDesign Reviews on-timeDesign review opened/closed issuesGO tooling on-time3D freeze on-timeDocumentation OTIFNumber of modifications after 3D freeze2D freeze as per Alstom standardsSpent engineering hours vs budgetRespect of rules for CATIA File/DMAResponsibilitiesDesigns and draws interiors parts of the train in the digital mock-up using Catia V5 and DMA, taking into consideration inputs such as weight, acoustics, eco design, aerodynamics and aeraulicsDeploys and applies on project CoE Interior development procedures, catalogue and standard solutionsOptimizes the parts design to reach recurring and non-recurring costs targets and ensure the committed planningWorks with external engineering sub-contractors and with site CAD engineers.Checks digital mock-up consistency (no interferences, equipment localisation and volume, interfaces...)Prepares with Lead Engineer support, design review elementsCalculate stack-up analysisIs in charge of the detailed BoM consistency.Educational Requirements
