A private firm based in Ahmedabad, is looking for a skilled Accountant cum Administrative Assistant to join their team.

Location: Ahmedabad (Candidates from Ahmedabad preferred)

Experience: 3–5 years in accounting and administration

Preferred Industry Experience: Precious metals (gold/silver)

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Duties:

- Manage local, import, and export accounts for the firm.- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and financial regulations.- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports.- Handle tax filings, GST, and other statutory compliances.

2. Administrative Duties:

- Draft professional emails, letters and business correspondence.- Prepare and manage documentation for imports/exports, ensuring compliance with regulations.- Liaise with banks, customs, and other authorities as needed.

3. Communication & Coordination:

- Effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.- Organize and maintain important records and files.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office (Word, Excel), and email tools.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.- Candidates with prior experience in the gold/silver industry will be given preference.
