Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) for HANA E3 professional to join our team. As an ABAP for HANA expert, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP solutions that leverage the power of HANA database technology.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. You will design, develop, enhance, and test ABAP code and ensure its performance and stability. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to junior ABAP developers, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing programming solutions.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in ABAP development and has successfully implemented HANA solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP for HANA E3 technology.
- Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop and enhance ABAP code according to business needs.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of ABAP programs to ensure their performance, stability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Provide support and guidance to junior ABAP developers on technical issues and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programming, ensuring system availability and stability.
- Optimize and enhance existing ABAP programs to improve performance and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of X years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Hands-on experience with HANA database technology.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP development tools and techniques.
- Experience in developing and optimizing ABAP code for HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, and HR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and as an individual contributor.
- Experience in Agile development methodology is a plus.
- SAP certification in ABAP development is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
