About Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-end Engineer with experience of 1-2yrs to join our AI products team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python and Fast API, with a strong understanding of RESTful and other API design approaches. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust back-end services.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable back-end services using Python and Fast API.Implement and enforce best practices for API design, including RESTful principles and other relevant approaches.Design, Build and maintain API gateways for services.Work with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.Deploy and manage back-end services on AWS cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.Key RequirementsProficiency in Python: Strong command of Python programming language and its ecosystem.Expertise in Fast API: Proven experience in building and deploying web APIs using Fast API.API Design Knowledge: In-depth understanding of RESTful API principles and experience with other API design approaches,API Gateway Implementation: Experience in implementing and managing API Gateways.Docker: Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications.AWS Experience: Practical experience with core AWS services relevant to back-end development (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).Database Knowledge: Experience with relational (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control.Testing: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Good to Have Experience with microservices architecture.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of asynchronous programming concepts.Experience with message queues (e.g., SQS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka).Understanding of security best practices in web development.ResponsibilitiesWork with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.Deploy and manage back-end services on AWS cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
