Responsibilities :

Technical Configuration and Integration :

- Configure and maintain SAP VIM functionalities, including invoice capture, validation, approval workflows, and automatic postings.

- Integrate VIM with other SAP modules (FI, MM, etc.) and external systems (EDI, OCR software) for seamless data flow.

- Configure OpenText VIM (optional) for document management and archiving.

- Develop custom workflows and scripts using VIM scripting languages (ABAP or JavaScript) to automate complex tasks.

Process Optimization and Automation :

- Analyze and optimize VIM processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Implement electronic invoice (E-invoice) processing solutions.

- Design and configure automated invoice matching rules based on pre-defined criteria.

Data Management and Security :

- Configure VIM for data archiving and retrieval according to company policies and regulations.

- Implement user access controls and security measures to ensure data integrity.

System Administration and Support :

- Perform system administration tasks for VIM, including user management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Provide ongoing support to end-users on VIM functionalities and processes.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest VIM features and updates and implement them effectively.

Technical Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience working with SAP VIM (experience with OpenText VIM a plus).

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ECC architecture and functionalities related to Accounts Payable (AP) and procurement processes.

- Proficiency in VIM configuration and customization tools.

- Working knowledge of ABAP or JavaScript for developing VIM scripts (desired).

- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts and configuration (desired).

- Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology for invoice capture (desired).

- Experience with SAP PI/PO for system integrations (desired).

- Excellent understanding of data management best practices and security protocols.

Educational Qualifications :


- Bachelor's/Master's

Additional Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
