Overall Responsibilities: Utilize solid years of experience in software development using Scala, Java, or Python to build solutions in Hadoop, Spark, and Hive technologies. Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies. Implement data wrangling techniques to clean, structure, and enrich raw data for delivering insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions. Software Requirements: Proficiency in Hadoop, HDFS commands, and Spark commands. Experience in SQL scripting using HQL, SparkSQL, or any RDBMS (Teradata, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift). Knowledge of Hive and HQL, including UI tools and metastore management. Familiarity with Sqoop commands for import, export, job, and metastore operations. Experience with Kafka or Spark Streaming for real-time data processing. Proficiency in Scalding Scala API for Hadoop MapReduce and version control using GitHub. Technical Skills (Category-wise): Versioning and repository tools, CI/CD tools (e.g., Stash, TeamCity). Basic and advanced knowledge of AutoSys, including iDash, WCC, autorep, and JIL creation. Experience with other job scheduler tools, Unix/Linux OS commands, and Unix/Linux shell script programming. Working knowledge of Ab Initio technology, including GDE, Express> IT, and Control Centre. Experience in solution designing and providing various options to adapt to the best solution. Experience: Minimum 7 years of solid experience in software development using Scala, Java, or Python for Hadoop, Spark, and Hive technologies. Hands-on experience with Agile methodology, SDLC model, ITIL service management, and Jira. Day-to-Day Activities: Participate in solution design discussions to provide various options and adapt the best solution. Collaborate with teams to develop and implement scalable data solutions. Engage in critical thinking and problem-solving to address complex data challenges. Qualifications & Soft Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
