Job Description : Azure CDN Engineer

Client: Leading Banking Client
Location: Belapur, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 5 - 8 Years
Working Days: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays working

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure CDN Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, particularly in Front Door, CDN Profiles, Azure Arc, and WAF Policies. The role requires hands-on experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Azure networking and security services, with additional knowledge across other Azure offerings. The candidate will be supporting a Banking client environment and must be capable of working in a high-availability, secure infrastructure setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Azure Front Door and CDN profiles for content delivery and global load balancing.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Arc for hybrid cloud management and governance.
  • Configure and manage WAF (Web Application Firewall) Policies to ensure application security and DDoS protection.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and security on Azure.
  • Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to support cloud networking requirements.
  • Provide support for incident resolution, performance tuning, and environment stability.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and banking client security standards.
  • Document configurations, policies, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong expertise in Azure Front Door & CDN Profiles configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Arc.
  • Deep understanding of WAF Policies and web application security.
  • Working knowledge of DDoS protection and mitigation strategies.

Additional Skills

  • Knowledge of other Azure services (App Services, Storage Accounts, VNets, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (DNS, routing, SSL/TLS, caching).
  • Experience in banking or financial sector projects preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700) will be an added advantage.
