About the Role We are hiring an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer for an edible oil refinery commissioning project in Qatar. This is a contract-based, on-site role, suitable for professionals with a strong background in refinery or process plant automation, control systems, and electrical systems commissioning. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute electrical, instrumentation, and automation commissioning activities as per project standards and schedules. Perform testing, calibration, and loop checking of PLCs, MCCs, VFDs, transmitters, sensors, and field instruments. Integrate and troubleshoot automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS) for process equipment and utilities. Review and verify loop drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control logic. Conduct system validation, FAT/SAT, and documentation for commissioning and handover. Ensure adherence to electrical safety, QA/QC standards, and refinery HSE guidelines. Prepare as-built documentation, calibration certificates, and performance test reports. Requirements Education: B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering. Experience: 10–15 years in E&I Automation commissioning for edible oil refineries, food processing, or FMCG process plants. Proven expertise in PLC/SCADA/DCS integration, field automation, and control systems. Strong understanding of refinery process operations, interlocks, and safety systems. Excellent coordination, documentation, and troubleshooting skills. Prior Qatar/GCC experience preferred.
