Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer with Playwright experience

Location: Hyderabad, India

100% work from office (5 days a week)

Interview : Phone screen followed by in person Interview.

Inperson interview is a must.


Must Have skills: Automation QA, Playwright, Java Script/ Type Script, integration tools.


Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.

Test Planning and Strategy:

  • Contribute to test planning and strategy by providing input on test coverage, automation feasibility, and best practices.
  • Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Execution and Analysis:

  • Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and other anomalies.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed reports on test results.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and consistent validation of mobile application builds.
  • Monitor and manage automated test execution within CI/CD environments.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on test results and automation coverage.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with development teams to promote a culture of quality and ensure that automated testing aligns with development processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and management on testing progress and issues.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile automation testing.
  • Propose and implement improvements to the existing automation framework and processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min of 6 years of experience as Automation Engineer
  • Proven experience in mobile automation testing with tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
  • Experience with Playwright
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
