Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Procurement Specialist located in Chennai. The role involves managing the purchasing processes, including supplier negotiation, purchase management, and issuing purchase orders. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing procurement needs, identifying potential suppliers, conducting cost analyses, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services.
Qualifications
- Experience with Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Orders
- Skills in Supplier Negotiation and maintaining Supplier Relationships
- Strong Analytical Skills for cost analysis and procurement needs assessment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the marine or industrial sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or any other relevant engineering courses.
