About the Job :

The candidate is a hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer who is strong on configuration, integration or both across project and maintenance portfolios with substantial experience in owning, running, and supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter platform and integrations around it.

: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities:Accountable for Guidewire ClaimCenter development based on new/change requirementsCollaborate with BA, Development, and QA Team, manage scoping, sizing, planning, development, implementation, and support for projects within the Claims portfolioResponsible for ensuring that unit and functional tests are integrated into solutions and high level of code coverageManage the overall support of ClaimCenter eco-system, including integrations for Policy, Financial and CRM systems as well as integrations with bureaus, 3rd party vendors and other service providersManage and maintain the technical / solution documentation including architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams and production runbooksManage, maintain, and govern engineering standards around security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, deployment, and integrations

Requirement:8+ years in IT field with 6+ years within Guidewire Claims Center in Integration development roles is requiredExpertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model and Product Models4+ Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies is required6+ years hands-on experience working with J2EE, Tomcat, XML/Web Services/ RDBMS (SQL Server preferred)6+ Expert level hands-on experience with XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin / Tools (Sonarqube, Netsparker, etc.) and frameworksExpertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model and Product ModelsWorking knowledge of Apache Tomcat or similar application serversHands-on experience and expertise with Java and GOSU programming, and strong fundamentals with OODDDevelopment experience with Batch Processes, Message Queues and Event Messaging within Guidewire ClaimCenterTechnical experience with product migrations / conversion is required - by developing migration utilities leveraging ClaimCenter APIsExperience with DevSecOps and establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Claims build / deploymentsExperience in P&C insurance is required (Commercial Insurance is preferred)Strong skills in problem solving, resource and portfolio planning and budgeting
