Compliance Department - Analyst (KYC Team) Location: Chennai We are seeking a KYC Analyst to join our Corporate Compliance team in Chennai. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, international environment while contributing to the growth and effectiveness of the company’s compliance programme. You will collaborate closely with Compliance colleagues across global offices as well as with local departments. Key Responsibilities Conduct KYC due diligence on new and existing counterparties. Collect, review, and analyze counterparty information and data. Perform sanctions and adverse media screenings; investigate and resolve alerts. Identify red flags or material risks and escalate as needed. Prepare reports on KYC metrics and KPIs. Support compliance projects and collaborate with global teams. Ideal Candidate Motivated team player with integrity and strong problem-solving skills. Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure. Fast learner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities. Qualifications & Requirements Academic degree (or equivalent) in finance, law, or a related field. Candidates with experience in Commodities, Energy , Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical industries only. At least 3 years of relevant working experience (e.g., in compliance, KYC or related areas). Strong interest in Compliance topics. Fluent in English (corporate language); any additional language is an advantage but not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
