Job Title: Electrical Engineer (PDU)

Location: Bangalore or Coimbatore


Responsibilities

  • Work with multidisciplinary engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components.
  • Find/recommend alternatives for obsolete components.
  • Perform lifecycle assessment of OEM components and report out.
  • Assist in the development of electrical product specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve complex systems.
  • Design Tool Installation packages. Packages include Schematics, Facility Data information, General Routing, and Details.
  • Prepare engineering specification documents and test specs, coordinating with other BU engineering departments, software teams, and manufacturing teams.
  • Create and release engineering drawings & bills of materials using engineering change management processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems, identifying sources of issues in critical parts and subsystems.


Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks-Electrical, or similar software is a plus.
  • Previous knowledge of PLM
  • Solid understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.
  • Previous knowledge of UL-listed components.
  • Proficient in the use of SolidWorks PDM preferred.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others.
  • Regarded as a technical expert in their field.
