Job Description :
- We are looking for a Senior QA Lead.
- The QA Lead is required to Review & enhance existing Testing practice.
- Set up / Enhance Bug logging mechanism.
- Provide trainings to QA team around QA procedure, Manual & automation scripting, Framework, Configuration management, Black Box testing so that everyone is calibrated.
- The Quality Assurance Manager maintains ultimate responsibility for assuring that all releases are in very good shape and compliant with technical specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Solid experience in agile development methodology such as sprint planning, Stand up, and retrospectives, as well as knowledge of Jira/Confluence
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle, software testing types, techniques, and principles
- Certification in Software Testing is essential
- Test automation (using JS) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills area must
- Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner
- Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
- Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members
Educational and Experience Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering Management, Analytics or related field is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software Testing.
- The candidate should have worked as Lead or Manager in the previous Organization.
- Exposure in setting up Software Testing practice is needed
- People leadership experience motivating and inspiring others to excel
- Strong performance management and team development skills
- Innovative the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
- Working knowledge of test tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Appreciation and working knowledge of utilizing Test Automation and tooling within an Agile and DevOps operating model
