Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with a specialization in Machine Learning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding, statistical modeling and numerical methods with a solid foundation in linear algebra. The candidate should have graduated preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset and a passion for solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:Utilize statistical techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve business problems.Design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses and improve model performance.Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data-driven solutions to improve processes and outcomes.Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through data visualizations, presentations, and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.Solid knowledge of statistical modeling, numerical methods, and linear algebra.Experience with data preprocessing techniques such as feature engineering, normalization, and dimensionality reduction.Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
