Job Description:

The work profile involves ideation, creation, testing and validation of system level electronics for application-level innovations in the domain of batteries, motors and power converters.

  • Assess existing technologies and design/procure appropriate technology for system level implementation.
  • Working with the battery and hardware design teams to improve and optimize the performance
  1. of the implemented battery system performance.
  • Perform the plant modelling, model-based design (MBD) and testing (HiL/MiL) of the EV battery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during testing and/or during production.
  • Benchmarking competitor EV battery packs (stacks) and other electrical/electronic EV components and interacting with the Hardware design team to optimize the design.
  • End to end testing of the battery system in sync with the electronics and record the data for further optimization and modification.
  • Logic development and selection of auxiliaries required for the battery system.
  • Design and fabricate test equipment for the required mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems,
  • Ensure test results are documented in a clear, concise, and timely manner.

  • Should be agile, energetic and self-driven individual with the zeal to take up challenging projects and drive them to completion.
  • Should display leadership skills and take ownership of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Should be able to collaborate and assimilate ideas, plan projects and execute them in a timeline.
