This Centre offers specialized and advanced skill courses in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implementautomation solutionsfor manufacturing and industrial processes.Program, configure, and troubleshootPLC, HMI, and SCADA systemsfrom leading platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc.Integrate and calibratesensors, actuators, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and robotic componentsinto automation solutions.Develop and interpretelectrical and control system schematicsand panel layouts.Conducttesting, validation, and commissioningof automation systems on-site.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and improve system performance.Providetechnical support, documentation, and trainingto maintenance and operations teams.Ensuresafety standards, industry regulations, and quality protocolsare followed throughout project execution.Stay updated withIndustry 4.0 trendsand implement IIoT, data acquisition, and smart manufacturing solutions where applicable.Required Qualifications:Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.Proven experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related domains.Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and field devices.Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred Skills (Added Advantage):Experience with robotics, vision systems, or MES integration.Exposure to Industry 4.0, IIoT solutions, and digital twin concepts.Familiarity with CAD tools and electrical panel design.Certification or training from recognized automation companies (e.g., Siemens, Festo, Bosch Rexroth, etc.).
