Electrical Design Engineer _ AutomationWe are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with strongexpertise in designing electrical systems for manufacturing machines. The ideal candidateshould be proficient in Auto CAD Electrical (E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN, possess strongknowledge of electrical components, servo motors, drives, PLC I/O modules, sensors,motion devices, and be capable of producing complete and accurate Bill of Materials(BOMs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other essential electrical design documentation.Experience: 5- 15 YearsKey Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts usingAuto CAD Electrical (E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN.- Prepare detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), control wiring diagrams, and cableschedules.- Select appropriate electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, sensors,actuators, servo motors, drives, and motion control devices based on applicationrequirements.- Design and document PLC I/O modules wiring for machine controls.- Generate complete and detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement andmanufacturing.- Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards (IEC, NEC, UL, CE) andmachine safety regulations.- Collaborate closely with mechanical designers, controls engineers, and manufacturingteams for integrated design and execution.- Support prototype assembly and troubleshoot electrical systems during build andcommissioning phases.- Continuously review and optimize electrical designs for performance improvementand cost efficiency.- Maintain thorough electrical documentation, design revisions, and implement changemanagement processes.- Participate actively in design reviews and contribute to project planning and executionwith technical insights.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in electrical design for manufacturing equipment,Special Purpose Machine (SPM) or industrial machinery.- Proficiency in Auto CAD Electrical (Preferably E_CAD 2024) and EPLAN forelectrical schematic design.- Strong knowledge in selection and application of electrical components (e.g.,contactors, relays, sensors, drives, servo motors).- Sound understanding of sensors (proximity, photoelectric, vision sensors) and motioncontrol devices (servo motors, Drives).- Experience in creating BOMs, SLDs, control panel layouts, machine cabling, wireduct design, and detailed wiring schematics.- Familiarity with industry standards and practices such as IEC, NEC, UL, and safetyregulations.- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured, methodicalapproach to design work.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamenvironment.Preferred Skills:- Experience in PLC/Automation system integration including basic knowledge ofPLC wiring, I/O module configuration, and troubleshooting.- Knowledge of designing machine safety systems (Emergency Stops, Safety Relays,Light Curtains, etc.).- Exposure to 3 D electrical design tools such as Solid Works Electrical is anadvantage.- Exposure or understanding of Mechanical Design and Drawings.- Basic understanding of project management principles and working withinstructured project environments.Interested candidates share your cv at or call at .
