Job Description for Functional Consultant - Dynamics 365 CRM - Marketing

Position : Functional Consultant - D365 CRM

Responsibilities :


Solution Design and Implementation :

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing requirements and design solutions using Dynamics 365 CRM for Marketing.
  • Implement and configure Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing modules to meet client specifications.
  • Customize and extend the system to address unique business needs.

Business Process Analysis :

  • Conduct thorough analysis of marketing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements.

Requirements Gathering :

  • Engage with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives.
  • Elicit and document detailed functional and technical requirements for CRM marketing processes.

Dynamics 365 CRM Configuration :

  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing modules based on business requirements.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation, lead management, and campaign management functionalities.

Integration :

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365
  • CRM Marketing and other systems.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between CRM and marketing tools.

Training and Documentation :

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use of Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing features.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes.

Testing and Quality Assurance :

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing modules.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to validate integrations and data migrations.

Client Support :

  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests related to Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing.
  • Work closely with the support team to resolve incidents and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a functional consultant with a focus on Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing modules and capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes, lead management, and campaign management.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 CRM to meet business requirements.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and integration concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 CRM will be a plus.
