Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Tech Delivery Lead

As a technology delivery leader in the banking and capital markets sector, your role involves overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of technology projects and initiatives for banking and CM clients.

Responsibilities

· Project Management : You'll need strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor technology projects from inception to completion. This involves defining project scope, creating timelines, allocating resources, managing budgets, and mitigating risks.

· Team Leadership : Leading cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, analysts, and other IT professionals is essential. You should be able to inspire, motivate, and guide team members to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.

· Technology Expertise : A deep understanding of banking and capital markets technology is crucial. This includes knowledge of core banking systems, trading platforms, risk management software, compliance solutions, and emerging technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.

· Stakeholder Management : Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, regulators, and external vendors, are essential. You'll need to align technology initiatives with business goals and address stakeholders' concerns and expectations.

· Innovation and Strategy : Driving innovation and strategic initiatives to enhance technological capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and deliver competitive advantages is a key aspect of the role. This involves identifying emerging trends, evaluating new technologies, and formulating long-term technology roadmaps.

· Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating technology-related risks is critical in the banking and capital markets sector. You should have a solid understanding of cybersecurity threats, data privacy issues, operational risks, and disaster recovery planning.

· Continuous Improvement : Implementing processes for continuous improvement and optimization of technology delivery processes is essential. This involves analyzing performance metrics, gathering feedback, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.

· Adaptability and Resilience : The banking and capital markets industry is constantly evolving, with new challenges and opportunities emerging regularly. As a technology delivery leader, you must be adaptable, resilient, and able to navigate change effectively.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

·Deep expertise in Credit Cards & Lending strategy role.

·Excellent communication and executive presence to connect at CXO level

·Ability to build deep client partnerships.

·Holds exposure to a great industry network.

·Self-Starter / Extremely self-motivated and ability to work independently.

·Deep Domain experience in Asset Finance or Commercial Leasing and Lending technology

·Exposure to Lean Six Sigma

·Postgraduate in Finance / Economics or MBA – Finance with relevant years of work experience in Consumer / Retail banking vertical.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·Experience in Running IT Operations for Large Global Companies

·Experience in Establishing and Executing ITIL Process

·Strong Interpersonal / Communication Skills/ Clear Thinker /Team Player

·Ability to work in diverse environments and deal with ambiguity.
