About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler to join our team and play a key role in designing and developing the foundation of our data architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience working with various tools and technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data models.

- Design and develop logical and physical data models for enterprise systems.

- Utilize entity-relationship modeling (ERM) and dimensional modeling techniques.

- Implement data models using data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, Power Designer preferred).

- Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure compatibility with chosen database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL preferred).

- Participate in the design and development of data warehouses and data marts.

- Perform data quality assessments and identify data inconsistencies.

- Document data models clearly and concisely for future reference.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest data modeling trends and best practices.

Qualifications :

- 6-12 years of experience in data modeling, database design, or database development (minimum 3 years in data modeling).

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques (ERM, dimensional modeling).

- Proficiency in data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, Power Designer a plus).

- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL preferred).

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders
