Position Overview :

The SAP BW BEx Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reports using SAP Business Explorer (BEx) in the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) environment.

The role includes gathering business requirements, creating customized reports, and ensuring that data is correctly processed and visualized to support business decision-making.

- Design and develop SAP BW reports using SAP BEx Query Designer, Analyzer, and Web Analyzer.

- Customize existing reports based on evolving business needs.

- Create complex queries with filters, structures, and variables to meet reporting requirements.

- Analyze data sources to understand the underlying data models.

- Validate data integrity and ensure accuracy in reporting.

- Generate detailed and summary reports for various business processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate these into technical requirements.

- Ensure that the delivered reports align with the functional and technical specifications.

- Perform system tuning and optimization of existing SAP BW BEx reports.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in reporting processes.

- Provide user support for BEx tools, including BEx Analyzer, Web Reports, and Query Designer.

- Troubleshoot report performance and data inconsistencies.

- Work closely with SAP BW developers, data architects, and BI (Business Intelligence) teams to ensure seamless integration between reporting and data warehouse processes.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW 7.x/4HANA.

- Expertise in SAP BEx Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, and Web Analyzer.

- Understanding of data modeling, InfoProviders, DSOs, and InfoCubes in SAP BW.

- Experience with SAP BW backend development, including transformations, process chains, and extractors.

- Familiarity with ABAP is a plus.

- Knowledge of other SAP BI tools (SAP BO, Lumira, etc.) is an advantage.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3 - 5 years of experience working in SAP BW BEx.

- Experience with SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA is preferred
